Beauty Salons & Spas
You've chosen the church and the reception site; the wedding gown is getting its finishing touches and fittings; the invitations are waiting to be picked up; the attendants are in line and you've spoken to the florist and the organist and soloist are already practicing their music and the honeymoon is arranged and you have very efficient lists of the millions of details that must be completed before the big day. Breathless, aren't you? Who knew this would be a production challenge equal to putting together "Titanic II"?
But something nags at you...have you really remembered everything?
We'll tell you one of the things that often gets forgotten, or almost forgotten, in the rush and to-do: the beauty segment. Sure, you're beautiful and the groom is great and the world is going to be astonished at what a good-looking wedding party this will be. BUT, don't you want to get the hair, skin, nails done in the most comfortable way possible?
If you're getting married in the busy Nantucket wedding-bell season, you'd better make your appointments ASAP. Some people do a double or triple appointment set - one session for parties, one for rehearsal dinner, and of course one for the wedding. And this isn't just for the bride. The mothers of the bride and groom will want to look their best, as will all the attendants. Not to mention the groomsmen. (Is it cousin Jody who always looks as if he's cut his own hair? Would he be happy to have an excellent pre-ceremony trim, so he can look like a page out of GQ? )
We're not just talking hair, manicures, pedicures, and facials here - how about a wonderful relaxing massage to take away the natural stresses of the big event in the trying week before the wedding? Or a facial? What a nice gift to give to your attendants! Again, the watchwords are Plan Ahead!
